AMY KENNY (Counselor A-L)


Let me introduce myself… 

My name is Amy Kenny.  I was born and raised on the “Jersey Shore”. I began my career in education in 1991.  I taught Health and Physical education for 10 years at the middle and high school level in Elizabeth, NJ.  In 2003, I became a school counselor at Manalapan HS.  I made the move across the country in 2006 where I started with Hemet Unified School District at Hemet HS, before coming to Dartmouth MS in 2012.  I received my BA in Health and Physical Education and MA in Counseling at Kean University.  I also have a MS in Education through Mary Grove College.  I also received my Administrative Credential through National University.  I love working with students and empowering them to find their passions. 








My name is Nilma Alvarez-Drinkwater. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I received my BA in Psychology at the University of Puerto Rico. I also have a MA in Guidance and Counseling from Bayamon Central University in Puerto Rico.


I began my counseling career in 2007 in Puerto Rico. In 2011 I moved to Florida and worked three years with The School District of Palm Beach County as an elementary school counselor. For the past two years I have been working with Hemet Unified School District, initially at Diamond Valley MS and now at Dartmouth MS. I am very passionate about helping students and giving them the necessary tools to become well-rounded individuals and life-long learners.
