Track Teams Perform Well at Bad Dogs Invitational

We had our last sporting event of the year yesterday as our boys and girls track teams participated in the Bad Dogs Invitational at Hemet High School. Our girls team finished 7th overall and 3rd in the Diamond Valley League, while our boys finished 3rd overall and 2nd in the league just behind North Mountain. We had some outstanding individual performances as well.

Girls High Jump - Georgia H. - 1st place
Boys Shot Put - Daniel S. - 2nd place
Boys 1600 - Austen D. - 1st Place
Girls 100 Hurdles - Kimberly S. - 3rd Place
Boys 400 - Tyler T. - 2nd Place
Boys 800 - Austen D. - 1st Place - (He set a middle school meet record!)

Congratulations to all our student athletes and Coach Scott on a great meet yesterday. Also, a huge thank you to our cross country coach, Tom Siebold, for helping organize and run this meet for our students. Without him, there would not have been a track season this year. Go Knights!

Hemet High Sports and Physicals for 2019-2020 School Year

Dartmouth 8th grade families-

Any potential 19-20 Hemet Athletes - Friday, May 17th 2:30-6:00 PM at All Star Physical Therapy, out by Walmart in Hemet. All athletes grades 8th-11th should get their physicals to play sports, right now for next year.

All athletes should also fill out Hemet High paperwork for sports clearance at . Remember your login you will use it for 4 years, If you get cleared now athletes will be cleared for all summer activities and be ready to go on the very first day of school next year, at Hemet HS.

An athlete only playing a Spring sport should do the same, because all physicals at Hemet HS expire on the last day of each school year. Basically, why not have a physical that is good for an entire year instead of a physical that is good for only a couple of months in the Spring. Since most insurance plans only allow one physical each year.

All traditional sports plus Mountain Bike, Dance, Fencing, and Cheer are included.

Thank you - Mr. Anderson - Athletic Director, HHS
