The following students earned a medal; Nathan Roberts, Andrew Wallace, Henry Martin, Tyler Tibbitts, Ashton Pena, Jordan Hernandez, Lukas Boe, Christopher Phillips, Jackson Hulstrom, Benjamin Gil, Brady Yodites, Joaquin Garcia, Giulianna Loza, Yuriana Diaz, Alondra Olivos, Rycheena Spells, Lalonie Abram, Maddie Houghton, Camille Le Vezu, Harlow DePasse, and Cordellia Baca. A big shout-out goes to Jordan Hernandez on his 1st place finish in the 7th-grade boys race.
Along with outstanding individual accomplishments, the team as a whole also did very well. The 6th-grade girls, the 6th-grade boys, the 8th-grade girls, and the 8th-grade boys all earned a plaque in their race by placing in the top three. Our 7th graders were close to getting a plaque with both the girl's team and the boy's team getting fourth place. The girls team of combined 6th, 7th, and 8th grade was second place overall. The incredible excitement came at the end of the meet when the boys were awarded the overall meet champions. Great job, Dartmouth Knights runners and coaches. Good luck to the cross-country team as they compete at Dartmouth next week in the league championship meet.
