Mt. SAC is the largest cross-country meet in the world. At the middle school level, there were 108 schools and over 3,600 athletes participatig. To win a medal at MT. SAC is very difficult due to the large number of athletes.
The team is very proud of Christopher Phillips and his 3rd place medal finish in the 8th grade boys race. Christopher also set a new school record with a time of 11:34 on the challenging 2-mile course.
Giulianna Lopez repeated her record performance of last week and set a new school record at Mt. SAC with a time of 14:25 for 2 miles. Her amazing time earned her a 3rd place medal.
