LA 8 Period 4 Assignments

Students have one day a week in class to read their self-selected AR book and respond to the prompt in their journal.

Reading Journal due. Prompts done in class every Thursday. Students received the prompts on Jan. 5, 2017. The Prompts are attached to the assignment in Aeries.

Essay. The Effects of the Great Depression on individuals

AR Quiz. Students need three AR tests per semester. This is the last day AR tests will be accepted.

Comic Book/Retelling of "The Fog Horn".Students began working on it in class 11/28 and may work on it every class day.

 

Reading Journal. Students work one day a week on reading their self-selected novel and responding to the prompt. Each prompt requires a minimum of eight sentences in the student response.

Compass. Students are required to spend 30 minutes a week reviewing skills. Students are given two opportunities a week to complete this assignment.

Mid Triad 3 Progress Report. Return signed for Homework credit. A copy was also emailed home.

"The Fog Horn" story packet/Story Map graphic organizer/Fiction summary graphic organizer. Students will write an 8-10 sentence summary. Students will have three class days to type their summary. 

Five A Day #13- Students have worked all week in class on completing sheet.

Compass. Students are required to review skills for 30 minutes a week. Students are given two days a week to complete.

Reading Journal #3 Due

End of Triad 2! All students should have at least two AR tests. Remember the expectation is that each student will have a minimum of one AR test per triad.
